William Hoffacker: 20 Micro-Stories and More
In the two years since his publication in The Matador Review, William Hoffacker (Summer 2016) has both expanded his flash portfolio and professional resume.
Last January, Hoffacker became Co-Editor-in-Chief of video game-inspired lit mag Cartridge Lit. Since then, the magazine has published two issues and three online chapbooks, as well as many columns and interviews on the Airship.
In late 2016, three linked stories he wrote appeared in the final issue of NANO Fiction. New South also published two micro prose pieces in November of the same year. In 2017, Hoffacker also had his flash story "On a Snowy Mountain" featured in Atticus Review, and "Mute Boy" published in Fixional.
Also in 2017, Hoffacker "completed a series of twenty micro-stories based on actions one might attempt in Dungeons & Dragons," and is currently shopping the collection around. Three of these stories have appeared in Barrelhouse, one in Threadcount, and three in FIVE:2:ONE's #thesideshow.
He also continues to interview contributors for The Collagist, where he has served for four years.
