"Cradle to Grave"

(oil on canvas, 100x120cm, 2018)

Gergely Bukovinszki is a visual artist who primarily paints themes that reflect who we are as human beings. He aims to tell stories inspired by personal experiences and current social events, his years-long research into the occult world, history, and observations of how the human psyche is affected by various traumatic events through a lifetime of constant struggle. Instead of arriving at convictions, his paintings ask questions regarding our original, uncorrupted purpose on this plane of existence. Gergely was born in Hungary, where he studied visual arts. After earning a BA in 2009, he moved to the UK where he currently resides. His paintings have become part of several exhibitions, including his own solo exhibitions and private showings. More of his work may be found on his Instagram at @bukovinszkiart and on his website.
